Thanks for posting Wunderlich's performance( I am a huge fan) but I could find no mention of the accompanist Ludwig Kusche in Wunderlich's Biography, could it be Hubert Giesen?
The YouTube post credits Kusche as the accompanist for this and two other video clips that appear to come from the same recording session. Perhaps Giesen was unavailable that day, or was simply camera-shy.
Looks like Hubsie Giesen to me! Fritz didn't perform Lieder with anyone else after 1963.
Great to know there are so many other FW fans out there!

My apologies, Barbara! It is in fact Ludwig Kusche, according to a TV documentary from 1971 that I've just managed to acquire on DVD. In mitigation, Kusche does look quite a lot like Giesen when sitting at the piano - except that Giesen's hair was grey or white by the time be began working with FW.
